The self-developed BALN-LR20 is a half-duplex next-generation wireless communication transmitter/receiver using standard RS232/485 connectors and communication protocols. It is equipped with LoRa (Long-Range) function that supports TX & RX modems, supports Transparent Transmisson mode, and uses DC 8~28V power.
Communication frequency band: 900~931MHz (default setting: 923MHz)
BALN-LR20 has the advantage of being able to communicate wider, farther, and without data loss from the wireless transmitter through the anti-jamming and cross-talk prevention characteristics by applying the direct sequence type communication technology. Easier coding and correction are possible through the FEC algorithm of the self-developed wireless transmitter software (BALN-LRs) tool. It has the advantage of being convenient because it is easy to respond to changes in the on-site situation because it can be expanded at any time, even in case of reduction of construction cost, reduction of various labor costs, test operation, and additional expansion of equipment.
Small module size without performance downgrade compared to other products, through which it can be used more flexible and has a price advantage
TX communication strength supporting up to 100mW, wireless LoRa communication device with wide selectivity that can be used in any region such as Europe and Korea
Built-in temperature compensator to maintain signal stability over ±1.5 PPM
Industrial grade hardware specifications suitable for each device and Internet of Things (IoT) that can be used in external and internal environmental conditions (-40℃ ∼ +85℃)
Reinforced aluminum case, small size, excellent insulation and barrier properties, strong anti-jamming function
Securing stability through overvoltage & backflow prevention function
Communication parameter setup tool that can be easily changed through self-developed open program
Very low power consumption, 28mA consumption as standby power. (It features security, low power, and high-efficiency long-distance communication)
Built-in data stand-alone storage function, the previously set parameter values are preserved and operated even when power is cut off and power is restored
Use of SEMTECH SX1276 main chipset with proven high reliability
LoRa is an abbreviation of Long Range, which is a combination of Lo of Long and Ra of Range. As the Internet of Things developed, it was thought that it would be difficult to apply the existing communication equipment to the IoT field.
LoRa is characterized by security, low power, and high-efficiency long-distance communication.
Depending on the site conditions, wireless transmission and reception control is possible where it is unavoidable to apply wired communication construction, so construction costs are reduced, labor costs are minimized, and test operation is shortened.
Reducing infrastructure cost Reducing the cost of building IoT based on a unified system
Fast automatic control of equipment even remotely by judging data reference information with fast equipment control firmware
Platform Linkage Expansion Effectively link with IoT and big data platforms through wired and wireless networks
It is convenient to integrate and manage data using wireless LoRa transmission and reception of dispersed buildings, and it is easy to respond to changes in the field situation.
BALN-LR20 product applicable to wireless LoRa transmission/reception communication with various equipment for measuring BAS, IBS, ZEB, BEMS and energy use data in buildings
